Magnificent venues for networking

Two signature landmarks in Barcelona will be the venues for the evening receptions on Wednesday and Thursday nights,MACBA, the Contemporary Arts Museum and.Casa Llotja de Mar.

MACBA, the Contemporary Arts Museum, will be the venue for the welcoming drinks reception on Wednesday. On Thursday night the city of Barcelona will host a Catalan reception in the beautiful 18th century building Casa Llotja de Mar.
Barcelona is really opening its welcoming arms to all radio professionals coming to the city for Radiodays Europe. With the support from local Catalan broadcasters and the City of Barcelona (Ajuntament de Barcelona) participants will get the opportunity to socialise in two extraordinary venues.

On the eve of Radiodays Europe, on Wednesday 14th of March at 8.15 pm, there will be a drinks reception in MACBA (Museu d´Art Contemprani de Barcelona). MACBA should not be mistaken for the conference venue CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona) which is in a different building very nearby MACBA.
MACBA was designed by the American architect Richard Meier and opened in 1995 in the historic Raval district. MACBA is one of the institutions that has helped confirm Barcelona´s reputation as a city of innovation.
The venue for the reception on Thursday 15th of March at 7 pm is even more spectacular. The Ajuntament de Barcelona will kindly host a Catalan reception for Radiodays Europe in Casa Llotja de Mar. It was build in the 18th century and is one of the best examples of two-storey Gothic architecture in the Mediterranean. It also has the best collection of neo classic sculptures in Spain. It is now the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce.
The receptions will be open to all participants and will provide networking opportunities during two hours each night. There will be no dinner at the receptions, just snacks.
