Radiodays Europe - 2 days until Europe’s largest radio conference!


Barcelona, 12 March 2012

There are only 2 days until the start of Europe’s largest radio event, Radiodays Europe! If you are a station head, a programme editor, part of online or new media or an advertiser, Radiodays Europe has something for you.



At this year’s conference some serious issues for radio will be raised including, ’Freedom of Speech – The Klubrádio Case’, Thursday 14.15 - 15.00, Auditorium, Vicsek Ferenc and Amy Brouillette (Hungary) the story of how the possible loss of licenses for Klubrádio has become a symbol of media freedom in Hungary. With a decision due on the future of Klubrádio licenses this week Radiodays Europe offers you the chance to hear the inside story of events.

With the economic crises hitting much of the European Union, Radiodays Europe will look at the role radio plays in reporting on the current crisis. ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ Mon, 12:50, David Murray, Business Editor, RTE Staffan Sonning, International financial correspondent of Swedish Radio will look at how to cover a story as complex and shattering as the world-wide financial crisis.

This year’s Radiodays Europe will be held in the historic city of Barcelona, the home town of FC Barcelona.
