On the World Radio Day we are proud to announce that Radiodays Europe once again will manifest itself as the biggest and most important radio conference with 1300 participants from 60 countries around the world.

A new topic will be the Paris terrorist attacks and the learnings for broadcasters from that.

#Jesuischarlie – I am Charlie – is the title for a new session that will focus on what happened behind the scenes during the Paris terrorist attacks and the learnings from some of the important news outlets, France Info and Radio France International. In additional Mark Cummins of SBS in Australia will join the conversation with perspectives from the Sydney hostage siege.


With four weeks to go the numbers of delegates registered is growing rapidly

50 sessions about what´s new in radio

Radiodays Europe has a massive programme with 100 speakers in over 50 sessions during 2,5 days 15-17 March at MiCo, Milan. Last year 1300 participants came from 60 countries.

Workshop about radio and social media

In addition to the conference programme there are four 3-hour workshop offered on Sunday. One of them is “You got me feeling emotions” about how radio can work with social media with Laura-May Coope, Director of Social Life, UK. Laura-May previously led the social media strategy for BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra for over four years.

You need to register separately on the website for the four workshops.

You do it like this: Go to Registration, re-enter your conference registration (login with your email-adress and self-defined password), add the chosen workshop and pay the extra amount by credit card.

Translations to Italian/Traduzioni

There will simultaneous translation from English to Italian in most session rooms during Monday and Tuesday thanks to Confindustria Radio Televisioni.

Fast and Furious

Radiodays Europe is bringing together this year’s delegates before the conference to share ideas, share solutions and share experiences. In a relaxed and informal setting, we’d like to invite you to talk through some of the radio industry’s biggest issues with your peers from across Europe.

Picture this - There will be 10 tables with a moderator on each table. 10 people will come together on each table for 20 minutes to discuss a topic, as described by the moderator. The conversation will be free flowing guided by the moderator and no idea is a bad. The moderators will help guide the conversation if needed and will write short blogs on each topic. After 20 minutes everyone will move table and do the whole thing again. Everyone who attends will get to join three tables during the night. The whole event will take an hour and a half.
