Radiodays Europe - now the largest radio event in the world. Press release

Radiodays Europe in Berlin,
the largest radio event in the World

Berlin 4 March 2013:
Radiodays Europe is proud to announce that this year’s event in Berlin will be bigger than ever, with a 25% growth from last year. The organisers are expecting well over 1000 participants from 50 countries, making Radiodays Europe not only the largest radio event in Europe, but in the world.

Despite a much larger venue than last year, Radiodays Europe 17-19 March in Berlin is almost sold out two weeks ahead of the event, with only a handful of tickets left on sale.

SHARING RADIO'S FUTURE

Anders Held, one of the Project Managers of Radiodays Europe said:

We are excited about the fabulous interest from the radio community in coming to Radiodays Europe to share ideas and experiences. This fits with our theme ‘Sharing Radio’s Future’.

We strongly believe that radio has a future in this multimedia world and that Radiodays Europe can act as a focus for the radio industry and a platform from which radio shows how important it remains.

“Sharing Radio´s Future” is also about discussing ways to work together, when appropriate.

The numbers talk for themselves, there is a strong and growing interest in taking part in the re-shaping of radio. This year there will be participants from 50 countries including, for the first time, participants from Brazil, Korea and India and growing numbers from other countries, which shows that this is a leading worldwide event.

Alongside the event we will be raising the profile of radio throughout the world and we hope all of the participants at the event go back to their own countries ready to share their experience from Radiodays Europe
”.

The Radiodays Europe has its roots in Scandinavia, however over the past 4 years has grown and, as a truly European event, has moved location from Copenhagen, to Barcelona and will this year be held in Berlin, Germany.

High level speaker from all over the world will be attending the event presenting the best of radio around. 100 speakers in 50 sessions make this an event not to be missed.
