28 idea makers from 16 countries kick off programme planning



A hundred ideas for the most relevant themes and the very best speakers for Dublin in March 2014.

The 28 idea makers met in Brussels October 1st.  They represent the partner organisations of Radiodays Europe – and come from all over Europe: From Russia to Ireland, Scandinavia to Italy, Spain and Portugal and of course from the big markets like Germany, France, UK and Benelux. 

This Conference Committee meeting are held early in October each year and is an important part of Radiodays Europe’s strategy for making a truly European radio conference reflecting the concerns and interests of radio leaders and developers around Europe.  This year the interest and attendance for this meeting was larger than ever.

The Programme Group will develop the ideas further

The hundred ideas from the CC-meeting - and input from other contacts - will  now be taken into the discussion in the programme group and developed further into sessions on the conference programme.  In this group you find Susanne Baldauf (Germany), Nik Goodman (UK), Lenja Faraguna (Slovenia), Paula Cordeiro (Portugal), Peter Niegel (Denmark), James Cridland (UK) and the project managers Rolf Brandrud (Norway) and Anders Held (Sweden).

New RDE partners from outside Europe

Radiodays Europe is proud to announce two new partnership agreements. Radiotoday.au will be media partner for Australia and report from the conference, but also raise awareness of Radiodays Europe in Australia.

CBA (Commonwealth Broadcasting Association) is a world-wide organisation with members mostly in former British commonwealth countries. CBA will be a new partner and help bring in topics and participants from across the globe with emphasis on helping financially weak radio organisations in countries where radio is an important medium. 

The new partnerships  reflects the growing interest in Radiodays Europe also in regions outside Europe. Recently AIBD (Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development) signed up and AIBD will promote Radiodays Europe throughout its 26 member countries in Asia-Pacific.

Registration for participants opens on October 28th

150 days before the conference we will open for registration and online payment for participants at www.radiodayseurope.com.  All about participant fees, hotel and travel offers will come in a newsletter October 28th.  There we will also announce the first names, themes and sessions on the conference programme.  So – stay tuned to Radiodays Europe!
