RDE venue 2016 : Le Palais des Congrès de Paris

The venue for Radiodays Europe in March 2016 is a large building complex with concert venue, convention centre and shopping mall.  Here we get exactly what we need - four session halls, workshop rooms and large open spaces for exhibition and lunches – all well concentrated on just one of the floors in the building.

Where in Paris is the venue?

Get a first impression of where this is in Paris on this picture.  It shows us the two landmarks many of us are familiar with – the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe on top of the parade street Champs Elysee.  The Radiodays Europe venue – Le Palais des Congrès de Paris – is located under what can be the third landmark of Paris: The Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile Hotel which is the third highest building in the city.

Where to stay during the event?

Then take a closer look on Googlemaps.  For accomodation there are also other hotels in the vicinity of Le Palais des Congrès – and we will come back to possible alternatives on this web site before registration opens early in October.  For access to the venue from other parts of the city the Metro is a good option.  The Metro station Porte Maillot lies just under the convention centre – and the line from Louvre, Champs Elysee and Arc de Triomphe goes straight to Porte Maillot.  There are also bus lines from the airports passing by the Palais de Congres de Paris.

When will you want to be there?

Radiodays Europe will open on Sunday 13 March at 1200 for registration, exhibition, workshops and offers of Paris Tours.  In the evening there will be a Welcoming Reception, before the conference itself takes place from 9 to 16 on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th.  The conference will have 4 parallell session lines, about 50 sessions and more than 100 speakers.  It ends at Tuesday at 1600.

Registration opens in the beginning of October

Online registration and payment will open early in October.  At the same time hotel recommendations will be announced at this web site.  Early bird prices for the conference will be available until New Year, while normal prices will apply in 2016.

The programme for the conference will be developed by an international programme group from September to December, and will be announced in portions at this web site.  If you have suggestions for themes and speakers (and it is OK to propose yourself!), feel free to send a mail to - the sooner the better.

We are looking forward to see you in Paris in March!
