Radio shouldn’t be afraid of change – it should embrace it. 

The young thrive on change and by embracing the shifting cultural landscape, we will expand our community of loyal followers. 

The radio industry needs to change, not only in terms of new technology but also with its content. Tomas Granryd thinks we need to create content that challenges young people. Radio, now more than ever, has to become interactive. Radio is no longer the old box sitting in the corner. Now it is on all devices – videos, documentaries, podcasts, images and drama. 

Radio has become more visual – with images and videos becoming as important as on-air audio in creating and maintaining a radio community.
